The Hyena Family pin collection Pre-order store

What is this? I recently ran a successfull crowdfunding campaign for pin designs of all four hyena species, and many other different wild animals. The campaign has ended, but this shop is an opportunity for those who missed out to still pre-order any of the items that got funded by the campaign. How does it work? All new designs are available as hard enamel pins, and as waterproof stickers. There are also iron-on patches, stickersheets and prints, of both brand new and older designs. This store is only open temporarily, so please place your orders sooner than later if you're interested! Payment and shipping Payment can only be done via credit card. Since this is a pre-order store, the shipping will get charged at a later point. Costs and fees for international mail are currently constantly fluctuating. Once the products are ready to ship, the best possible shipping methods and rates will get used. All orders are either being shipped from the EU (Netherlands or Austria) or from NY USA. I am located in the EU, but am working together with a partner-campaign in the US. Orders to the US, Canada and Mexico will get prepared by me, and then get sent via New York. The rates will be a bit higher than on EU orders, but you will not get hit by any unexpected US tariffs. Shipments that only contain stickers and prints can be sent directly by me as letter mail. Hi all!

Here's your heads-up that I'm locking in the surveys and closing the pre-order shop very soon.

90% of you already sent in your answers, thank you! If you're among them, you don't have to do anything, but you have three days left to make changes if you wish to do so. 

You will still have the chance to update your shipping address later, and your cards will also get charged later. What is locking down is what amount of which item I order, and which stretch goals still get made.

Production update

I got the patches in the mail last week, and they turned out well!
The pins that already started the manufacturing process are still in a very early stage, I'll keep you posted once there's actual things to show!



Stretch goals

A few stretch goals have made it, but not all of them will. If you did order a design that won't make it, the item will be removed from your cart by me, and you won't get charged for the item.
There are a few designs that could make it still with a little boost, so if you're really rooting for them, this is your last chance to add them to your order or ask others to do so.
You can have an overview of the current status by looking at the pre-order shop.

If you backed the campaign and have a survey, please remember to not use the shop, but rather use your survey to add anything. Otherwise it will be treated as two separate orders!

Survey and stretch goal status

Hi everyone!

Hope you've been well.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes here, and once some things are sorted I can give this campaign my full attention again.

Thank you for responding to the survey, over 80% has responded at this point! Extra thanks to those of you who added any add-ons, this really helps to give me a bit more of a buffer when ordering.
55 of you still have to fill out the survey. You have a few weeks to do this still, though it's extra helpful for me to get surveys in early, to make better estimates of order quantities.
If you're still unsure what you want to pick or can afford, or are waiting for stretch goals to unlock, you can fill out the survey and come back to change it at any time.

The new embroidered patches have been finished, and already arrived in Austria. I will have them in my own hands next week.

Meanwhile, this is how things are currently looking for the stretch goals:



The African wild dog is very popular, and the tayra and kinkajou got partially sponsored by the same generous backer who sponsored their portraits as well.

I think the corn snake portrait and the full body clouded leopard have a pretty good chance of making it!
I'd personally love to see the bats, lemurs and hare get some love, but otherwise they will be saved for the future.

The pre-order store is still open to those who did not back the campaign.
If you know anyone who might be interested, you can send them that way. These orders will be shipped alongside the campaign rewards.
You can also check it to see the status on your favorite stretch goals! Both the pre-order store and the backer survey add-ons add up to the same total.

Last week I got to take a short break for a zoo visit. It was a great opportunity to study the clouded leopard, which I had never seen this well before! I rarely take the time to export and edit my photos, but here's a few of the clouded leopard and a fossa as they're sitting on the camera right now:


You'll just have to take my word for it that these look better on the actual screen..!
I also got to look at tayras, striped hyenas and African wild dogs, to stay in campaign theme. The maned wolves were sadly hiding the entire day!

Hi all!

I'm happy to announce that the pre-order store is open, and the first surveys have been sent!


What's the difference?
The pre-order store is for those of you who missed the original run of the campaign.
You may not have pledged, but in the store you can still buy everything as add-ons just as all the backers can through their surveys.
The only items that are NOT available are any of the campaign-exclusive freebies, but there's still dozens of pins, stickers and patches to choose from.
You can even still help to unlock stretch goals!

If you've backed but know anyone else who missed out and might be interested, you're more than welcome to send it their way!

The store will only be open temporarily, while the campaign surveys come in!
